1. Data Controller

Data is collected by SnoozeDB, represented by Pons Gregory, SIREN 811 007 905, located at 364 rue André Chénier, 83100 Toulon, France (hereinafter "We"), publisher of the SnoozeDB solution.

2. Data Collected

We collect two types of data:

  • Identity: Name, email address (via Google/GitHub or direct email).
  • Authentication: Secure authentication tokens (we do not store your passwords in plain text).
  • Billing: Payment history and billing address (managed via Stripe).

To provide our automation service, we only collect the following technical metadata via the AWS API:

  • AWS identifiers: Account ID, Region, Instance IDs (DB Identifiers).
  • Configuration: Instance type (e.g. db.t3.medium), State (Running/Stopped), Tags.
  • Activity logs: History of stop/start actions triggered by SnoozeDB.

3. Use of Data

Your data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Service delivery: Scheduling the stop and start of your RDS instances.
  • Security: Detecting and preventing abuse or unauthorized access.
  • Communication: Sending you important notifications (e.g. failed stop) or newsletters (with your consent).
  • Improvement: Analysing overall usage (anonymised) to improve our features.

4. Data Sharing (Subprocessors)

We never sell your data. It is shared only with our trusted technical providers:

  • Supabase (Ireland): Hosting of the application database and authentication (Auth). Data stored: Emails, password hashes, activity logs, organisation metadata.
  • Railway (Netherlands): Hosting of the application (Frontend/Backend) and execution of workers. Data in transit: API requests, temporary execution logs.

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is erased within 30 days, except where legal retention applies (invoices). AWS metadata is not stored beyond the activity logs we need (90 days).

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access and rectification: View and update your information.
  • Right to erasure: Request deletion of your account (right to be forgotten).
  • Right to portability: Receive your data in a standard format.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are essential for the service to function (user session).
