Plans & Billing

Choose the plan that fits your usage and manage your billing.

Available plans

SnoozeDB offers four plans suited to different needs, from solo developers to multi-client agencies. Core features start on Dev; recommendations and generated cleanup actions are paid-plan features.

Resource quotas

Each plan limits the number of active managed RDS databases. Resources in To triage, Protected, Ignored, or Removed do not count against the quota.

When you reach your quota, you can either deactivate an existing instance to activate another (swap), or upgrade your plan.

The quota applies per organization. If you have multiple organizations, each has its own quota according to its plan.

Free trial

Paid plans (Team, Startup, Scale) include a 14-day free trial. The trial starts automatically when you connect your first AWS account.

  • 14 days of full access to your chosen plan's features
  • The trial starts when you connect your first AWS account, not when you create the organization
  • A banner in the dashboard shows remaining days

Dev plan limits

Dev is free for one managed RDS database and one Dev workspace per user. It includes AWS connection, RDS scheduling, the dashboard, and snapshot inventory. EC2 scheduling, Cost Recommendations, and generated snapshot cleanup or retention scripts require a paid plan.

Changing plans

Open Billing in the dashboard to review current capacity and available plan changes.

Savings records

Dashboard amounts are estimates derived from stopped runtime, resource pricing, and detected waste. They are not AWS invoices.

When you implement a recommendation, record the decision and confirm the realized amount when evidence is available. Ignored recommendations remain part of the audit trail but do not count as realized savings.
